Ouch!

The Pocket Rocket has a fall

Dad Neil sent RNS the following report;

On Sunday (1st July) we arrived at a very hot and sunny Ripon Racecourse for the latest Triathlon in the series to try and qualify for the Nationals.
Amelia had a great swim and 1st transition and left for the first of 3 bike laps, looking determined, in in 2nd place.
As the leaders came around for the 2nd lap , we could not spot Amelia. We quickly found out she had come off her bike at over 30km hour, on gravel. We ran around to the ambulance, to find Amelia in sat the back covered in muck, cuts an grazes looking like a dusty Victorian chimney sweep.

In true Amelia style, firstly she wanted to know how her bike was and secondly could she finish the race! The answer was fine and no....she is a little bit tender today but fortunately no major injuries.
