Next to finish at Doncaster Racecourse was Karen Illsley 57:14, followed along the final furlong by Kath Scott who was delighted with a new PB of 57:18 and Nicole Henderson, who also got a PB, 58:12. Helen McGrory was next in 58:17, Stacey Atkins 59:51, Sara Whittaker 1:00:45 and Heather Green 1:02:15. Jenny Palmer 1:03:19 and Anthea Moisey 1:03:22, with Jennifer Owens 1:13:24, Lily Barnett 1:13:54 and Lisa White 1:16:22.

Two Striders were in Half Marathon action, Dawn Hollingworth was very pleased with 2:04:49 at Clowne and Sara Webb got a great time of 2:22:56 at the Silverstone circuit. Bonnie Tinsley was at Silverstone too, for the 10K race and took the chequered flag in 57:02 for a new PB.

To Newark Parkrun and we had fewer runners than usual as it was a Striders takeover week, with club members filling all of the volunteer positions.

Well done to all who ran or supported this weekend.
