Countdown to summer
It may be deepest winter and the snow may still come but that doesn’t stop us looking forward to the cricket season and the provisional fixtures for the SNCL have been announced.
2019 is the year of the local derby and the dates we have been waiting for are;
13th July Collingham v Balderton
7th Sept Balderton v Collingham, this is the last match of season and what a way to end the season, could promotion, relagation or just bragging rights depend on one final duel of these old rivals.
In Division D Farndon and Newark R & M lock horns again;
8th June at Marsh Lane
10th August at Kelham Road.
The season gets underway on the 27th April in Division A at Dale Field when the villagers entertain Notts Unity.
