Newark Striders Running Club
A small but dedicated contingent of Striders completed the last round of the East Midlands cross country league at Trent Meadows.
Our two lady Striders Nicola Bradley and Elizabeth Slessor completed the 2.7 mile course in brilliant times, Nicola in 23:00 and Elizabeth in 25:43. The gents complete a longer course of 5 miles , once again James Rastall was the first Strider home in a time 35 minutes followed by Dan Stephen 36:57,
Lewis Hopkinson 37:22, Howard Leek 38:45, Mark Winter 39:31, Peter Davis 42:26,
Simon Price 44:33, Dave Dews 45:27, Clive Owen 47:06 and Leroy Lindsay 52:38.

The muddy, wet and smelly Strider's Team from the East Midlands Cross Country Series this Sunday.
And 2nd picture shows Holly Davis our wonderful Team Director being presented with flowers from the team in appreciation of her organisation and dedication at each of the 4 races this Winter.
