Regional recognition for Newark Tennis Club stalwart
Newark Tennis Club member and Ladies 1st team captain, Sue Bilton, has been awarded with a prestigious regional lifetime achievement award.
Sue joined the club as a junior and has been an active member throughout. She is still active within the club acting as ladies 1st team captain playing in Division 1 of the Notts doubles league as well as representing Notts Veterans in the Over 60s and Over 75s. Sue attended the Nature Valley Classic Tournament in Birmingham and was presented the award on centre court by Kathy Sabin OBE, the first female president of the LTA, and then was then able to spend the day watching tennis on centre court.
