Day six in Margate
Saxon Shore Marathon (Saxons, Vikings & Normans 10 marathons in 10 days) day 6 and looking to become the first time I've ever done 6 back to back sub 3 marathons. Could feel I had a couple of niggles before the start but I wasn't going to let that mentally get me down. Started off only a little bit slower than what I normally do. I do like this course but in the shade it is very cold. Half way in about 1:22:00 starting to find the wind was picking up for the second half. Very pleased to get another one under 2:50 and have Michael come down to support me as I was running. So my time was 2:49:23sec and 1st back.
