Retro Fridays

Every Friday at 8am Matt & Vicky delve into their dusty CD, tape and vinyl collections to find those classic tunes you can't help singalong to...

What makes it even more exciting is you can embarrass your kids on the school run by singing away loudly to the cheesiest of songs that you proudly know (well, believe you know...) all the words, and actions, for!

Following the exciting lineup announcement for next year's Newark Festival, we thought we'd enjoy music from Kim Wilde and The Fizz, to get us in the mood!

It's the turn of the 1990's this week with two 'choons' (said in a high pitched excited squeal!)  Enjoy Eiffel 65 and Dario G as well as our personal favourite Superman.

Have we mentioned before that we love the 80's?  Today it's all about Dexy's Midnight Runners and Bucks Fizz... true cheese for sure!  Can you remember Thundercats?

You can always rely on the 1990's to give you that Friday feeling.  How about music from C + C Music Factory and the Divinyls, as well as reminiscing with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Sometimes you have to show the 70's a little extra love with classics like these from Thin Lizzy, the Rolling Stones and Hawaii Five O.

In celebration of 1980's themed Stranger Things season 2 gracing our screens today we've looked through the archives and selected Van Halen, Mysterious Cities of Gold and Simple Minds.

We're feeling a little love for the 90's this morning and thought we'd take a trip back there with The Divine Comedy, Billy Ray Cyrus and the theme tune from TV's Sex and The City.

Enjoy!
