Newark Rugby Club under sixteens beat Derby to win the NLD Cup.

Collingham beat Lincoln United to become Lincolnshire under 18 County Champions and by the end of the month they also win the league and league cup to complete the treble,

Newark Tennis Clubs men’s first team are promoted after a 100% winning season.

Long Bennington under 18’s are crowned Notts Youth League Division Three Champions.

RHP Colts win the Mid Lincs under fifteen league championship.

 

Individual performance of the month

Newark Athletic Club enjoyed some great results at the Lincoln 10K with Cloe Hubbard continuing  her magnificent 2019 with a 2nd place in 34.35 minutes, a time that puts her in the UK’s top 20.

Newark Strider Simon Roberts rewrite his club’s record book at the Manchester marathon. Simon was over the moon after covering the 26.2 miles in a new PB and fastest ever Striders marathon time of 3:02:48. 

One week later Lewis Hopkinson breaks the three hour barrier, the first time ever by a Striders runner.

Speed Skater Freddie Polak wins the Scottish Open.

Rugby star Jess Weaver captains England under eighteens against Wales at the Principality Stadium.
