Amy Hunt makes it four straight national titles as she wins the 100m in 11.79 (unofficial) to take gold at the English Junior Championships, the victory gains her automatic selection to the European Championships next month in Sweden.
And by the end of the month she becomes the 3rd in the all time rankings for 200m at under 18 level in the World and takes the British record with a time of 22.42 seconds at a meeting in Mannheim.
A brilliant 1st place overall and 3rd out of all 88 boys and girls at the Ripon Junior Triathlon for Amelia Chrispin puts her in a really strong position to qualify for the IRC National Triathlon Championships at the beginning of September

Newark Strider Peter Davis was competing in the Notts 10 mile race at Holme Pierrepont last Friday, a race which also serves as the county championships over that distance. and We are delighted to report that he has won his V65 age group county gold medal for the second year in succession.
Our very own pocket rocket Amelia Chrispin was at Milton Keynes on Saturday for the BMC milers meet. She ran the 1500m in a new PB of 4:43.04 making her the fastest under 15 in Notts and 12th fastest in the UK this year so far.
